How it all started...
In 1952 there was a dream to start a spirit filled church in Soperton. On December 10. 1952 the property was acquired within one mile of downtown Soperton to be used as a church. A church was quickly constructed, and services began with Robert Kight as the Pastor, and James Kight as the Associate Pastor.
The church grew and a second building was erected with 4 Sunday school rooms, a social hall, office and a bedroom for visiting ministers. The church name was later changed to Trinity Christian Fellowship and served by Pastors Duel Keen, Tim Grant, and Ricky Johnson between 1978-1993.
In 1993 the church joined Assemblies of God and called James Rayburn along with wife Debbie and family as pastor. In 1997 additional land was purchased and a 3rd building was later constructed.
